Why I'm the Hebrew Maven of Texas
I am a native Israeli who has lived in Dallas since 1988. I have a B.A. from Tel Aviv University and an M.A. from Bar-Ilan University. I have taught at every level in the Dallas area, including Temple Emanu-El, Yavneh Academy, the Jewish Community Center, Beyt Midrash, the Informal Education Program at SMU, and for 10 years,
the University of North Texas. I also helped develop Chocolate Hebrew, an innovative multimedia method of intensive Hebrew instruction, and introduced it in the Dallas area.

My classes
I offer individual instruction and small group classes for students at the same level of proficiency. I'm happy to start you off from alef-bet, or evaluate your level of Hebrew and let you try a class to see if it's a good fit for you. My students come from varied and fascinating backgrounds: people who plan to immigrate to Israel, people who have lived there and want to keep their Hebrew strong, Jews who want to explore the language or feel more comfortable at services, Christians who want to study the Bible in its original language, and many more.
Please note: I do not tutor Bar and Bat Mitzvah students. You can contact the appropriate synagogue for wonderful teachers who specialize in that.
